Finally the berries are ripening

What a truly cold and wet spring this has been for blueberries. I have just seen the first blush of blue when mowing yesterday so my guess is that we are about 2 weeks away from opening. The berries will blue up first and then set their sugars and this takes lots of sunshine.  Many thanks for your patience as we wait for Mother Nature to do her thing. After the coming weekend high temperatures I promise to post some photos of the fruit.
